Standard Room

    Beds: 1 king or 2 full size Bathroom: shower, 1 sink Special features: the standard rooms, also known as the garden rooms, have small intimate terraces that lead out to the hotel gardens. Most rooms have partial views to the ocean and forest. These rooms are highly recommended for families with young children, and those who want to be close to nature.

Deluxe / Deluxe Superior Room

    Beds: 1 king or 2 full Bathroom: bathtub, 1 sink Special features: the deluxe rooms are slightly bigger than the standard rooms and have private balconies with connecting doors between rooms. These rooms have view over the rain forest and partial view of the ocean. Recommended for families and friends who want adjoining rooms.

Premium / Premium Plus Rooms

2-story building encased on a rock Beds: 2 queen Bathroom: bathtub, 2 sinks Special features: The newest addition to Hotel Parador with astonishing 180-degree views of the Ocean, the islands, and the forest. All rooms have large sliding doors and balconies, and are delightfully decorated with light blue and earth tone colors, integrating the indoors with the outdoors. Ideal for couples that wants total tranquility while enjoying the endless views. These rooms are accessible by an incline hillside elevator. Not recommended for small children.

Junior Suite

(1-story buildings integrated on a hill) Beds: 1 king or 2 full Bathroom: Jacuzzi, 2 sinks Special features: The suites unlike the other rooms have a living area with rich leather seating. Kitchenette and private entrance with itīs own gardens. All suites have beautiful views of the forest, the ocean, and the complex. These suites are recommended for anyone wishing full privacy, and wanting the best.

Presidential Suite

The best for last. The Christopher Columbus Presidential Suite measures 172 m2 and is truly one of the most unique suites in all of Costa Rica. We would like to boast that is the best suite in Costa Rica! No less than three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen or king-size bed. The living room measures 54 m2 and is equipped with a wet bar, dining room, soft leather furnishings, antiques and tasteful artifacts, tables and chairs, a television in each room, central air conditioning, two balconies, sliding doors and screens.

How to Get to Hotel Parador

There are a variety of interesting and fun ways to travel to Hotel Parador. For the traveler wanting to see as much of the countryside as possible, the hotel is approximately 3.5 hours south of San Jose's Juan Santamaria International Airport. From the airport, take the Pan American Highway west approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles). Take a right on the exit ramp for Atenas, then a left at the signs pointing towards Atenas, crossing over the Pan American Highway and following the signs to Jaco, then to Quepos. Once in Quepos, follow the hotel signs to Manuel Antonio. Hotel Parador is the first right turn past the Barbaroja restaurant on the road to Punta Quepos. Once on the road, Hotel Parador is at the end, approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.3 miles) from the main road.

Scheduled and charter air service is also available to Quepos from San Jose and is provided by Sansa, Travel Air, or by private air charters such as Aero Costa Sol. For the truly adventurous, Hotel Parador has its own helicopter landing pad. With notice, Hotel Parador can provide pick-up service for private air charters. Both Sansa and Travel Air provide transportation to and from the airport at a minimal charge.
