are a variety of interesting and fun ways to travel to Hotel
Parador. For the traveler wanting to see as much of the countryside
as possible, the hotel is approximately 3.5 hours south of San Jose's
Juan Santamaria International Airport. From the airport, take the
Pan American Highway west approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles).
Take a right on the exit ramp for Atenas, then a left at the signs
pointing towards Atenas, crossing over the Pan American Highway
and following the signs to Jaco, then to Quepos. Once in Quepos,
follow the hotel signs to Manuel Antonio. Hotel Parador is
the first right turn past the Barbaroja restaurant on the road to
Punta Quepos. Once on the road, Hotel Parador is at the end,
approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.3 miles) from the main road.
Scheduled and charter air service is also available to Quepos from San Jose and is provided by Sansa, Travel Air, or by private air charters such as Aero Costa Sol. For the truly adventurous, Hotel Parador has its own helicopter landing pad. With notice, Hotel Parador can provide pick-up service for private air charters. Both Sansa and Travel Air provide transportation to and from the airport at a minimal charge.
