La Mariposa offers 40 elegantly appointed rooms, most of which have private terrace with a fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. All rooms are spacious and have king or double size beds, air conditioning and ceiling fan; some feature a jacuzzi tub. A recent renovation added several luxury suites, getting La Mariposa in the best shape of its celebrated history.

The open-air restaurant at La Mariposa provides world class dining and breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio s beaches; unobstructed Pacific sunsets seen from the restaurant or bar are renowned throughout the land. Strolling around the grounds reveals charming tropical gardens, a swimming pool, unique swim-up cocktail bars, and perhaps a glimpse of the local fauna which features several species of monkeys, colorful birds, and of course lovely butterflies.

La Mariposa is a natural center for guided or on-your-own activities that include whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, rainforest hikes, jungle canopy tours, horseback riding to secluded waterfalls, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, and many others.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

Master Suite (1): Located on the second floor of the main building; two bedrooms with a king-size bed and a bathroom in each, and a sitting area with a terrace offering one of the best views of the Manuel Antonio beaches. 

Villa Suites (4): A bungalow-style split level unit; one bedroom with two double beds, a large garden bathroom, and living room area extending to a private terrace with ocean view.

Junior Suites (19): One spacious level unit with a king bed or two double beds, bathroom, sitting area, and terrace with ocean view.

Deluxe Ocean Rooms (6): One spacious room with two double or one king-size beds, bathroom, and a terrace with ocean view.

Standard Rooms (10): A spacious room with two queen-size beds or a double and single bed, bathroom, and garden views.

Penthouse: Panoramic views of beach and rainforest. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Very spacious rooms with sitting area, king-size bed and state-of-the art jacuzzi on a garden view terrace.

All rooms have A/C, ceiling fans, and telephone.

Rates are based on single or double occupancy per night.Taxes at 16.39% will be added on bill. Extra person per room $ 30.  Children under 10 stay free. 50% payment is required at the time of reservation; balance: 30 days before arrival. 

On low season, all cancellations 15 days or less prior to arrival, will automatically be assessed 50% penalty. Cancellations made more than 15 days before arrival will be assessed a cancellation fee. No shows will be charged 100%.

Special cancellation policies apply for High Season (Dic.16-Apr.15). Christmas, Season Holidays, Thanksgiving and Easter. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 60 days before arrival to avoid 50% charge penalty. Cancellations made 30 days or less  and "no-shows" will cause a penalty charge of 100% the total amount.
