Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge, tucked away in the trees and cooled by the Pacific Ocean, is a 170 acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park. Carefully designed and built by an American naturalist with twenty years of local experience, this unique lodge offers accommodations constructed in harmony with the landscape and the environment. Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge offers the closest accommodations to Corcovado National Park and provides the ideal base for your in-depth rainforest experience.
Any travel plan to Costa Rica should include a stay in the tropical rainforest. The last Pacific lowland rainforest of sustainable size in Central America is found in Corcovado National Park. Corcovado has been called "The most biologically intense place on earth" by no less an authority than the National Geographic Society.
Access to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is only by motor launch. The adventure begins two hours before your arrival as the launch leaves the Sierpe River and follows the Pacific coast. Your accommodations at this "Lost World" are artfully appointed individual bungalows offering tiled floors, hot showers and ceiling fans.
The Lodge is supplied with mountain spring water, and is surrounded by virgin rainforest. Electricity is provided 24 hours a day by hydroelectric and solar systems. This is your opportunity to discover the vibrant life of the rainforest. Enjoy beach-combing on our half-kilometer-long pristine beach then refresh yourself under a waterfall. Casa Corcovado is the closest lodge to Caño Island Biological Reserve, a diver's paradise. Here you can picnic on a white sand beach sheltered by coconut palms and snorkel among the coral reefs.
Guided tours to both the park and the island are included in Casa Corcovado's 4-day package. Kayaks are available for hourly rental or go for a guided outing along the coast. Have lunch on a beautiful tropical beach perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Scuba diving and sportfishing excursions can be arranged, or enjoy a Kayak excursion to San Josecito, a beautiful beach.
Comfortable accommodations, unforgettable meals, informative guides and accessibility to both Corcovado Park and Caño Island are not all that's offered. A sense of sharing the adventure, participating in a cultural experience and earning a broader understanding of the fragile ecology of the rainforest, will make this a voyage to remember for a lifetime. Anything less is just a vacation.
Our tours are geared towards the serious minded naturalist, hiker, photographer, birder, and adventurer. Due to the remote location, tours involve surf launches and landings. We recommend these tours for those in good physical condition.

Booking and Cancellation:
Groups: Full refund less $100 fee if cancellation is more than
60 days before arrival. 50% refund if cancellation is up to 30 days
before arrival.
Individuals: Full refund if cancellation is 30 days before arrival.
50% refund if cancellation is 29 to 15 days prior to arrival. No refund
if cancellation is 14 days or less before arrival.
Notes:
- Due to air transfers, please limit your luggage to 25 pounds (12 kg) per person. Luggage storage service is available at most hotels.
- We reserve the right to change or omit portions of any itinerary if warranted by inclement weather or sea conditions.
